WellSpace Health’s Women’s Health Department provides obstetric and gynecological healthcare in a caring and competent way for women of all ages in our community.
Women’s Health includes routine gynecological examinations, contraception services; basic infertility evaluation and treatments gynecological surgery, menopausal and post-menopausal care, pregnancy care, ANKH Sisterhood, and Sweet Success
OB-GYN
OB-GYN services include routine gynecological examinations and care, contraception services; basic infertility evaluation and treatments, gynecological surgery, menopausal and post-menopausal care, well-woman care, preventive care, breast and cervical cancer screening.
Pregnancy Care
Pregnancy Care includes prenatal, hospital, and postnatal care with personalized labor and childbirth plans, a series of classes on pregnancy and parenting, and a specialized program to help people with gestational diabetes deliver healthy babies.

ANKH Sisterhood
ANKH (Assuring Neonatal Kinship and Health) Sisterhood brings together Black women who are pregnant and parenting to promote the health and wellbeing of their children. The Ankh is an ancient African symbol for “the key of life” and represents the hope every mother has for her new child and family. WellSpace Health empowers the ANKH Sisterhood through culturally humble healthcare and supportive services in pregnancy and beyond.
Sweet Success
Sweet Success is a specialized program to support people with gestational diabetes to deliver healthy babies.
Infectious Disease
Infectious disease services including comprehensive testing, treatment, and prevention services to reduce health risks for you and your partner. PrEP, PEP, HIV, and STI testing and treatment are available.
Breast Health Program
The Breast Health Program provides life-saving mammogram screenings to support early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Since 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime, routine mammograms help identify cancer before symptoms appear. WellSpace Health’s mammogram makes screenings fast, safe, and accessible, with low-cost or free options available.
Perinatal Services Program (CPSP)
WellSpace Health offers comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) services to pregnant and parenting women’ covered by Medi-Cal. CPSP services include comprehensive prenatal care, health education, nutritional assessment and education services, and psychosocial assessment and referral support for up to 60 days after delivery. CPSP services also include client orientation, assessment and follow-up services, individual case coordination, prenatal vitamin and mineral supplementation, and prenatal and postpartum parenting education.
Participation in the program is voluntary.
