Behavioral Health Co-Occurring Continuum of Care​ 

A broad spectrum of substance use disorder treatment and prevention services for people with or without a co-occurring mental health condition​.
The Behavioral Health Co-occurring Continuum of Care offers a wide range of services for substance use disorder treatment and prevention.

These services are available to individuals with or without a co-occurring mental health condition. They are provided through outpatient, residential, and crisis receiving behavioral health centers.

The continuum includes various programs such as Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Withdrawal Management (Detox), and Residential Rehabilitation. It also encompasses Outpatient Treatment, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and specialized programs for people involved in the criminal justice system, as well as Reentry Services.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Substance Use Disorder Treatment is a comprehensive range of services to provide the right substance use disorder treatment for each individual situation, including outpatient, withdrawal management, residential, and Medication Assisted Treatment.

Outpatient Treatment

​​​Outpatient Treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders including outpatient counseling, groups, intensive outpatient, and perinatal (women and children).

Residential Rehabilitation

Residential Rehabilitation is an evidence based modified therapeutic community providing residential treatment for people with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

Withdrawal Management (detox)

Withdrawal Management (Detox) provides medically managed support in a residential environment for people who are withdrawing from the effects of substance use disorders

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies to help sustain recovery from alcohol, methamphetamine, opioids, and other drugs.

Criminal Justice Involved Programs

Criminal Justice-Involved Programs are collaborative partnerships with justice courts and law enforcement to deflect people from incarceration and reduce re-incarceration by helping meet the unmet healthcare needs of people who are involved, or could become involved, with the criminal justice system.

Reentry Services

Reentry Services help people successfully re-enter the local community after a period of confinement, including post-incarceration care and prevention, early release community confinement, pre-release medication assisted treatment, and Transitions Clinic Network.
