Dr. Jonathan Porteus Named a 2021 Most Admired CEO
WellSpace Health Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jonathan Porteus was recently named a 2021 Most Admired CEO by the Sacramento Business Journal.
From an April 14th article:
“‘This is a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic,’ [Jonathan] said. ‘We knew that if we wanted to bring down the incidences of death, we would have to re-engineer our front door’ to address specific community needs, he said. To do that, the organization shifted the focus of its health centers from essentially being clones of one another to each having a specific mix of services to best serve the community in which it’s located. WellSpace also launched greater outreach efforts to bring more people into clinics to be vaccinated, especially those who are less likely to have access to medical care.”
